Is there any possibility of getting in CRT without a PS?

We sceheduled the trip after the 90 day window so PS is not a possibility. We will be there 11/20 - 11/25 and would like to catch it for a birthday celebration. Would it be a waste of time to stand at the entrance to CRT and hope to walk in?

While I wouldn't count on it, it never hurts to ask at the podium. Get there as early as possible and tell them you are willing to wait as long as needed. Good luck.

I think your chance would be slim,I would call often and see if maybe you could snag a PS.,some folks do have to cancel.Or could I suggest you try for a PSB PS at Epcot for your celebration. Not a easy one to get either but worth a shot.Good luck::yes:: :wave2:

What's CRT...? I'm so stupid sometimes...it's a blonde day and I'm not even blonde LOL!!!

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAhAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry...I'm really tired and I swear I knew this before...just forgot it...

Call 48 hrs before your desired date. You have to leave a c/c now to book & you can cancel up to 48 hrs in advance so there may be cancellations!

We are going to 1900 Park Fare. They have Cindy at Dinner, and the PS's aren't so hard to get. This may be another option for you.

Keep calling. I had to cancel a CRT PS in May when my niece did not go with us, I called about a week before. Also watch this board, sometimes people will post when they have to cancel.

Maybe you could just call the dining line from your room each night you're there. I think we got Hoop Dee Doo once that way.

I think you'd have to have a miracle to get a walkin, honestly, because people are putting down credit card deposits and won't be missing it because of that.

I would hate for you to raise the hopes of your kiddos, then stand there forever, and not get in. Which is most likely. And youd have to wait until park opening to even get to the podium to ask, and miss alot of possible no shows.

But don't give up on calling - call every single day, at various hours, and hope to snag a cancellation - esp near that 48 hour window. Call while you're there, as well.

I'd try to get into something else instead, just in case, like 1900 Park Faire or PSB.

do you only want to go if it's for the breakfast? is not make one for lunch or dinner... same place just not the characters which unless your kids know about or have their hearts set on, they will probably just like eating in the castle anyway

When we were at WDW in 2001 there was a princess (Snow White in our case) in the waiting area to greet guest during the lunchtime rush. We were the last group to see her. That was about 2pm. I don't know when they come in.

Even if you can't get a PS, it's worth a try to check first thing in the morning at the podium. I have a friend who has done this with her 2 daughters and succeeded at the last minute at least twice. She may just be incredibly lucky, but I know it can be done!

Thanks for all the advice/encouragement. We will be celebrating DS' 5th B-day and he really likes the face character meals. We once did the CRT when DD was celebrating HER 5th B-day and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately we scheduled this trip too late to snag a PS for either CRT or PSB.

On a related note...why ar ethere no "face character" meal options for boys? (I know, I know... boys like princesses too:rolleyes:. My DS is ready to marry Snow White) But would it hurt to have a few male characters at a meal.

When we went about 2 years ago in December, I was unable to get a PS for Cindy's. We were there when the park opened and I walked up to the podium to see if they had anything available. They did! They told us it would be about a 30 minute wait and I think it ended up being about 10! It never hurts to try and ask. Good Luck!

We tried to do this and it didn't work. For our last vacation just the two of us we walked into every restaurant with no ressie except CRT. We went by or called every day and were not able to get in at all. Sorry, this one is a tough one. :(
