Is there an ocean beach with large waves near Port of Falmouth, Jamaica?

Hi everyone, is there an ocean beach with large waves near Port of Falmouth, Jamaica? If so, how far is it from the cruise ship terminal (Port of Falmouth terminal)? Thank you!

Burwood Beach is not too far from the port, maybe 10 minutes by taxi. However, the beaches in that part of Jamaica don't have large waves. Do you get that kind of a beach you need to be over in the eastern part of the island near Kingston.
