Is there a Wait List for hotels?

I have my reservation at POFQ, which we loved last time we stayed. However, we were thinking maybe it would be more exciting and fun to do something different, so I called to see if we could change to Coronado Springs. The kids were excited about doing that because they liked the pictures of the pool and volleyball court and it's just something different. Unfortunately, their booked! Do you know if they have a waiting list where they can contact me if someone cancels?

I don't think there is any waiting list. I would try calling several times... atleast daily. That's your best bet.

Yes, do this!!! I have been waiting for an opening at the campground for a preffered site for weeks and called right at 7am this morning and got it!! I have been calling and checking for days, regularly, several times a day. So there is hope! Good Luck and keep calling!!

There are not waiting lists. You have to do the work and call back to check. As a PP said, call right at 7 AM when the open. As reservations are cancelled and the rooms put back in the system overnight. Anything available will be there first thing in the morning.

When we were coming down for a last minute trade in the beg. of December, everything was packed.

CRO advised me to call at 7 AM every morning. At 10 PM, the rooms not paid in full are cleared and opened back up for reservations. By 7 AM, the rooms are back up and available. It really paid off, there I was at 7AM on a Saturday talking to CRO, when the Yacht Club and Saratoga Springs became available. It was 3 days at YC, which was right by the Swan CC, then 4 nights at SSR.
