Is there a seperate check in at AKL for concierge?

I was just curious if there was or not, loved having that at CR, and wondered if it was the same at AKL.

Yes, the bellman whisks you right upstairs to your room and then you check in at your leisure in the concierge lounge. It is all very civilized and wonderful

Just like Cass says. Much better than GF where you have to stand around in the lobby (for like 10 minutes) waiting for a concierge to come and get you.

Before we could open our car doors, we were met by a Disney "suit", a very nice man named Stephen. After making sure our luggage was being handled, he escorted us upstairs to the lounge. He then introduced us to the concierge CMs. They were both tired up, so we fixed a cold drink and relaxed. As soon as a CM was free, I went to sit at the desk to check in. Soooo much nicer than standing in line!

The AKL concierge is wonderful! Have a great time.

Actually if your room is ready, bell services will take you right there and tell you to check in with the concierge once you've settled in.

I never even had to check in. I asked at bell services about concierge check in. The man took us up to the room and since it was late, he said we were all set to go. I never checked in or out....just thought about that...

Yup, both times I stayed there - the bellman had our keys and welcome kit and took us straight up to the room.

While I was unpacking the concierge phoned the room to welcome us and said to stop by the lounge at our leisure.

We will be arriving at AKL LATE Sunday [2/20] nite (around 11PM) and then are checking in AGAIN into concierge on Monday morning. I was hoping to ask if we could just check into concierge THAT NITE (I'd certainly be willing to pay for it[perhaps a reudced rate or something], except I didn't want to call ahead of time to make a ressie for concierge since we won't even BE at AKL on Sunday to take advantages of the lounge)....what to do, what to do??
