Is there a reason to go to DTD?

I like window-shopping and people watching. DTD is great for both!

We had not been to DTD on the last several visits - but we went during our Dec '08 visit. Mom was with us and on her trips with Dad he never wanted to go there. So we went to DTD one evening instead of to a park. The big Disney store was interesting, and Mom did buy a few gifts there. But I thought it was hardly worth the trip over.
So, if you want to shop at the big Disney store - but I won't go back unless there was something specific there I wanted to visit.

We always go to DTD. Instead of buying stuff in the parks all week, we go to DTD one of the last days of the trip and buy it all at once. We love Earl of Sandwich, I *LOVE* Ghiradelli's - YUM, and my oldest son starts begging to go to the Lego store the moment we tell him we're going to WDW, so we have to go! My husband loves to browse in the pin store and always winds up buying a few there. I guess you could say we're shoppers, so we love going to DTD.
