Is There A Purpose To Inner-Space Magic Red Being Unavailable For Trade?

Should Inner-Space Magic Red Become Tradeable?

  • Yes! I want a chance to get one/ trade my extras away.

  • No. Why change it?

  • I don't really care either way.

I've been contemplating this idea for a long time and have been thinking what was the reasoning behind this? These magics are not from cards reusable? And now with VMK Central closed these quest items are retired and I have never heard of any retired quest items being notradeable up until this card. I feel it would be the best interest of VMK and its players to take the block off this magic and let it be traded. For those new players who didn't get a chance to get it or players who couldn't get the chance to trade for it, they should have a n equal chance as those who spent a lot of money on trips to WDW. I have a few extras besides my 5 star and what can i do with those except have them sit in my inventory? Nothing thats what. So I believe the block should be pulled, is there any cons to this decision that have not been brought to my attention?

Maybe, VMK is bringing in money as of now, only from DMR's,Pirate Quest Pins, and some items through shops. I think the reason they made it nontradeable is because they wanted players to get in exclusively at WDW or DLR as a way to make a profit. Even now that they are gone, they could make other plans for VMK items in the parks so that could be a reason why it is still nontradeable.

But there are some items that should be tradeable like the green Tron lightcycle, or they should make POTC items able to be sold, but for those I have no idea. :confused3

Just my 2 cents...
It may be because it allows access to the inner space shop. The blue inner space (in game quest) pin is not tradeable.

Agree. If this pin was tradable people wouldn't need to do the quest for the Inner Space Magic pin

There must have been some internal struggling to the final decision, because if you guys remember this pin was not tradeable, then tradeable, then not tradeable, then tradeable, then finally where we are today not tradeable.

I have to think its something like souper said. They have decided for whatever reason, getting to the inner space shop would not be easy to get around.

Agreed. :thumbsup2

Perhaps they want players to earn their "free" magic and with the red being tradeable, you do not have to complete the blue quest. idk. Just a thought.

Perhaps they were also concerned that players who had done the quests would be upset about other players not having to do it, and thought they needed to minimize the number of people with the red magic. This always seemed like a pretty sad reason to me, because I know people who were not able to complete the Tomorrowland quests, and I was hopeful they would be able to access the Inner Space shop by trading for this pin.

However, there is another factor that I just remembered. When it first came out, some players with the magic were trying to scam others into thinking that it gives you an actual red space suit costume. If protecting players from potential scams was the reason VMK made their decision, I can certainly understand that.

I'm grateful that on this and other trading boards, people can at least trade for the unused codes.
