I found the February thread but don't see a March thread. It's been awhile since I've been on here but I'm trying to be good in March (just bought a new vehicle in February!). Thanks!
I'm new to this so I'll stick to a goal of 10 days for the month of March. I went through my credit card history and determined the following:
Goal: 10 Days
1-Spend
2-No Buy #1
3-Spend
4-Spend
5-Spend
6-Spend
7-Spend
8-Spend
Total: 1/10
I don't really get this - can someone explain the concept to me. I get the idea of not spending money today, but if I spend that money later or buy something on Friday instead of Wednesday where is the savings. Thanks,
Everyone uses it differently. For me in the past (and hopefully in the future because I'm jumping back on), it makes me think before I buy things -- is this something we really need? If it is, you're right, it ends up on the grocery/shopping list later and we spend that money. If it isn't, it usually doesn't and we save that money. I also live a very long way from all of the stores (about 30 minutes) so it also reminds me to group my shopping to make one trip and not waste time and gas driving around.
Welcome back!!!!
**I realize you were probably doing this before I even joined the DIS, but welcome back nonetheless!**![]()
