Does anyone have a list of the recently refurbished buildings at OKW? We're staying there in a month in the Hospitality House area. I would like to know which building number to request, assuming they have availability. Thanks!

The most recently refurbed buildings were in the Turtle Pond area, I believe. Not sure though. OKW is constantly refurbing, so I wouldn't worry about it.

We were in the Turtle Pond area in February and did not receive a refurbished room. So I'm mostly concerned about receiving the old, awful sofa bed (again) for our upcoming trip. If anyone has stayed in one of the HH buildings within the last month or are there now, I would like to hear from you regarding the condition of the room and if the sofa bed is new.

If it helps any, we stayed in HH are buildings twice 2 years ago, and both times we had the new sofa beds. Actually, the only place I have seen the old ones in the last couple of years at OKW was two weeks ago in building 38.

Wow, I'm amazed that you had the new sofa beds 2 years ago in HH but Turtle Pond still hasn't replaced their old mattresses! We were in Building 36 in February, and had the old, thin mattress. How long could it possibly take to put in a new couch?! Do you remember the building numbers you stayed in for the HH category? Thanks!

I would like a new sofabed.....it will be used every night.

Are there new sofa beds that dont have the bar in the middle at OKW?
My girls would appreciate not having to sleep on that.
But I also like being walking distance to the HH also. What to do?

Frankly, I think some of those Turtle Pond area rooms that stillo have the old sofabeds were some of the last ones refurbed just before they started switching to the new sofas, so it might be that they stioll have some time left on them. I do know that the HH rooms were refurbed right before our stay 2 years ago, if that helps. We were in buildings 14, 13, and 64.

Believe it or not, I have answered this question several times in this thread YES, the HH area rooms have the new sofa beds, and YES they are the memory foam with no bar in the middle type.

I always feel it's best in this situations to just request what you want, "refurbished room" for example.

Yes, but even that is vague enough that they might not understand exactly what you want. Does "refurbished room" mean within the last month, year, two years....? Units are usually refurbed every 3-5 years.
