Is there a general/small grocery store at BCV?

We're so excited, only 5 days until our first trip to BCV!

I just did the netgrocer order, they said it will be there by Friday, and we're arriving on Sunday.

We are taking Tiffany Towne Car and don't want to stop for milk and bread. Where do you get those things when you are staying at BCV. Do you have to walk all the way to the BWV to get that stuff or do they have one of those stores at BCV?

Please help.

I visited there 2 weeks ago and the store is in Beach Club just across the courtyard.

My understanding is that the original BC gift shop was expanded to include groceries. One poster reported it being very busy during several visits, that three clerks wern't enough to take care of all the customers. I't be great to hear more about the selection. I'm always surprised and pleased with the variety of items they carry at the Vero Beach store. BC is probably the same way.

Can anyone offer more info?

We were there for opening week. The store didn't seem to have as much selection as the other DVC resorts. Plus, they seemed to sell out of what they had quickly. Hopefully this has changed now.

You can have groceries forwarded to your room?

You can order from netgrocer.com and have non perishables delivered to your hotel. You want to order and put your name-guest to be arriving on 8/8/02 as the title, and send it to the hotel. If you order about 5 days prior to your arrival it will be at disney when you check in. Just tell the front desk when you check in and the front desk people will bring it to your room within about 30 minutes or less. We have ordered an entire weeks worth of food to BWV, we brought a soft cooler of meat and cold cuts for the week on the plane with us, it was still frozen solid when we put it in the freezer at the resort. All the ideas were gotten off this board, do a search for any questions about it and you will get all the info you need.

This worked out great for us.
