My DH and I went on the wonder in 2003 and there was no dinner buffet. We are planning to take the kids and thought it was a good option if we missed dinner or the kids were to tired to sit thru a meal. So is there a dinner buffet on the 4 night cruise?

I believe both Beach Blanket and Topsider have sit down meals for the evening meal. It is much less formal and I assume takes less time than the other dinning rooms. Seems like it would be a better option if dealing with tired kids. Another option is to take the kids to the club (provided they are age 3 to 12 and poddy trained) and let them eat with the club. They eat early sometime around 5PM and then the adults can go and enjoy the meal. Hope this helps. Lois

Thank you for the information!!! My kids are older(8-11yrs old) so it would be more like if they are having a hard time leaving the pool or if they are tired from a long day on the beach. However I am making them do the more formal of the dinner nights and they will love Animator Palete. Thanks for the help!!

Don't forget about the food optional around the pool. They have the very best chicken strips.

I was pretty excited to read on the newer navigator's that at times they offer BBB as a dinner option (the trend I've read in the navigator's is that it's usually available the 2nd and 3rd night?). They didn't offer this on our last trip in 1/06, and we just really didn't care for spending so long at dinner in the dining rooms. But it does appear to be fairly new. I keep wondering if they're just doing a trial run or if it will be a permanent thing. Hoping it's still there in 5/08! :thumbsup2

Thank you for all the answers. It loks like it may be an off and on thing. Well I have a year to wait, the wait will kill me!!!

Can I ask another question.......

I was looking at someones Navagators(SP?) and it looked like the Formal night varied. When I went your formal night was whenever you ate in Tritons, but now they seem to be themed dress by night not resturant? How formal is it on the Wonder?

Thanks

Actually this has changed on the Magic for sure and will be changed on the Wonder (if it hasn't already). BBB and Topsiders are both buffet now. They do follow one of the rotations as far as what is served, but it is now buffet. The hours did vary so check the navigator.
