Is there a DCL conspiracy?

I know I sound paranoid and that doesn't mean that people are actually following me, But as it gets closer to our cruise there is more and more events happening. First the commercials, then the Travel Channel show. It gets worse, According to Jim has two shows on the "Magic". The last straw was NPR interviewing some of the crew this morning.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I just losing my mind?

I think you're right, it is a conspiracy! Basically, it's like priming the pump... DCL is getting you ready to part with your money on frozen drinks and photos and silly souveniers and actually feel happy doing it. By the time you get to the port you will just put your wallet on the counter and say "take what you want, just get me on that ship!!!!" They do have great marketing tactics.

Or it could just be that you're more aware of DCL things because you are excited about your trip but I find the conspiracy theories to be mroe interesting myself!
