it is so difficult to keep switching back and forth on allears to look at the menus. Is there a book or guide out there with the menus in them? Seems like there arent alot of places to get normal food as I would say on the dining plan or is it just me and getting all mixed up with switching back and forth between menus. we are a meat and potato family who dont really eat all that fancy stuff. This place is just great I tell you.

Here is another option for you:

Walt Disney World To Go -- WDW in your Palm! <http://www.eguidestogo.com>

There's no accurate book (menus change constantly) but you can check the menus right here http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm on the DIS, and print out the menus that appeal to you.

If you see a menu that seems out of date, you can just click on the e-mail link at the bottom of that page and ask the WebMasters to please post a new one - the advantage here is, some of the WebMasters live in the Orlando area, and can simply drive over to the given restaurant or park and request the updated version!!!! That other site relies primarily on its readers to obtain and mail/fax/scan updated menus.

The problem with any menu book at WDW (and handy though it may be) is that it's out of date at least SOMEWHERE the day after it's published.
Kaytieeldr's advice is great--our menu site is the best, and is updated as often as possible.

There is The Unofficial Dining Guide to Walt Disney World 2007: Current Menus and Prices for All Restaurants at the Parks and Hotels by Kevin Yee, but, of course, it was out of date even before it was published. However, it may work as a guideline.

Here is a rare moment, kaytieeldr is right... the menus on wdwinfo.com tend to be the most up to date.

"The Unofficial Dining Guide to Walt Disney World 2007: Current Menus and Prices for All Restaurants at the Parks and Hotels" by Kevin Yee is available from online book sellers.

It's a paperback that's easy to carry. Although the Signature restaurants update heir menus daily, other WDW restaurants have static menus.

thank you all. I has been becoming a hassle to find a place that my extremely picky dad would eat over my very picky kids. Will definetly look on those places yinz have told me about. Never thought there would be this much planning to do to go on vacation. I usually just pack our bags and go but this is not a usual vacation for us.
