Sorry for sounding stupid but is P&P the Princess and Pirate party? and if so, what night did you book?
We're going the 18th to the 28th and I only had problems getting ADRs on the P&P night during my trip, plus I got one at a slightly less obvious location (Whispering Pines) for that night. I think the earlier weeks are just going to be high volume like any year.
The conventional wisdom seems to be that April is bad until the middle of the month and then it lightens up considerably. We'll see if that holds this year. We were there for the same break last year, and it was busy but not horrible. Lots of Brits and Bostonians (maybe we can christen it "New and Old England Week" a la Jersey week, lol). With a little planning and a moderate dose of UG tricks, we did fine.
We're staying offsite for a week unless the code is an amazing deal. If the code is just okay, I'll book the first three nights at WL or another MK resort. If there's no code (or if everything is sold out), it's offsite the whole time. Just waiting to figure out which it will be...![]()

. Just explaining my reasoning, but I definately understand the other way of thinking too! If I would go without the code anyways, I'd book now for sure.
waiting for a code
needing a code
Think we'll get a code?
Trying to be cool about it....

I did have to change my check-in date to April 7 from April 5, but it was worth it to save $350.00. The only problem was that I had ressies at CRT and BBB on April 6.
Breaks my heart to cancel those, and it disappointed my 3 little princesses.
I had thought about just paying OOP for CRT and BBB and staying just one night at offsite hotel, but that would not be very productive (kind of wipes out our $350.00 savings, and hubby would not be too happy!). We are also planning a trip to POR in June, and the CM told me to be on the lookout for passholder/FL resident rates to come out soon for our dates.
