I've searched through the site but can only find AAA discounts on WDW or Disneyland.:sad2: Has anyone booked a cruise through them? I've booked onboard and I'm switching to a TA. Thought I'd check out AAA before transferring to Costco.

There used to be "discounts" given by AAA, Dreams, Costco, and other places. Disney now stopped allowing that, for many reasons. Now, these places offer a credit, or a giftcard, and this makes up the difference. VERY rarely will one discount the other...HTH..

HAve you tried Dreams Unlimited? They offer great discounts, and you keep whatever you had from booking onboard.

We went on our first disney cruise last year and booked through Costco. I booked during the time that they stopped "discounting" the cruises. We got a $500 gift card instead when we got back :yay: (it depended on how much the cost of the trip was). That was better than anyone offered elsewhere ($100-$150). So, I was going to transfer it to Costco to see what the discount will be. Thought maybe AAA would have something to offer.

I was just at AAA today and they said they are having special pricing right now. I only wanted a brochure and didn't ask what kind of offers they had. Doesn't hurt to call them and ask.

Yes they do have AAA discounts AND Shipboard credit. We booked our trip in November through them and she saved us $400 of what Disney was quoting me:cool1:

We used AAA for both of our cruises and received a discount and stateroom credit. AAA always has cruise month in January with even better deals. Might pay you to check them out before the end of the month.
:thumbsup2

I am booked through AAA, you receive a stateroom credit the amount depends on the cat. of the room, you also receive a discount on rentals on CC, and if you purchase $ 75 at one of the gift shops you will receive a discount.

I am going to try and book on board when we cruise next time, if you get 10% discount and a 200 credit it will be much cheaper than anything else out there.

We just booked our first cruise and found AAA to be about $300 more than DU or the Disney website(which were the same to the penny). We have used AAA for our 2 trips to Disney World and found them to be $300 - $400 less than the Disney web site. For the cruise I think that she included transfers from MCO when I told her not to. I did ask about discount and she just talked about the room credit. I would use AAA again, just making sure I had a different agent.

I booked mine through AAA 3 weeks ago and got stateroom credit, used their insurance which was alot cheaper than Disney's, but the price for the just the room was about the same. We are staying at the CSR for 3 days before the trip and saved 15% on the room as well as a free upgrade so that's where most of our saving are. I'm very pleased with the amount of $$$ I'll be saving through them! Park tickets, Cirque du Soleil and CC excursions are discounted with them as well.

I got a quote through DU and it was actually MORE than the Disneycruise website cost. I also checked with a TA and her cruise price was the same but she couldn't get the room discount so I stayed with AAA.

We have used AAA three times, and their rates were always less than the Disney Cruise Line site even w/o the shipboard credit. The current AAA travel agent we are using has had some difficulties however, and so from that perspective it is probably worth looking around, Hvae not tried DU.
