Is there a 180 Day calculator?

I have been told twice when I have called Disney that my 180 day is today (5/11/16). We are checking in on Nov 7th. I am looking on line and I don't see where those checking in on Nov 6th have the option to book yet. Did they give me the wrong date? Isn't there a 180day calculator?

Your dining reservations can be made today, 5/11 but you were on a little too early. Online dining ADR's open up at 6am ET, and 7am over the phone.

You can also figure out the day in your head, with some simple manipulations. No need to be a math whiz. The key is that in terms of days of the week, your 180 day mark is two days after your check-in day. So if you check in on a Thursday, your window will open on a Saturday. If you check in on Monday, your window opens on a Wednesday. So first step is to figure out which day of the week you'll be making your reservations.

Next step is to take your check-in date, and back up six months. Then go forward two or three days, because six months is a little more than 180 days. This will have you really close, but not spot on. So from there, find the nearest day that falls on the correct day of the week. And now you're good to go. (The description sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. )

ETA because I discovered I had the days of the week rule backward

This is an amazing too, I'd wished I had this tool to calculator whether the dining plan was worth it for me or not when I was planning

I just discovered it a few months ago! I feel like I got ripped off with the past several years of dining plan! I'm loading up on big ticket meals this go round!

I must be doing something wrong. Our check in date is Thursday, January 26, 2017. Both calculators say my 180 day window begins Saturday, July 30, 2106. But my window should open on a Tuesday, correct?

Thank you - I wrote it backwards. In terms of days of the week, your reservation day is two days *after* your check-in day. So you check in on a Thursday, and you reserve on a Saturday.
Actually, I'm arriving the day before you, and I do my reservations on a Friday, so that all works out. (Don't worry, I won't take all the reservations you wanted!)
Sorry for the mix-up, and thanks for the opportunity to correct it!

Thanks for the correction. And thanks for not taking all my ADR's!
