Is the wheelchair car on Journey into Imagination still down for repairs?

I had read on here that it's been out of commission for months. I was wondering if it is running again. My husband will be sad to miss it. Epcot has very few accessible rides for people in wheelchairs as it is.

It was still down on 8/28 and the CM didn't know when it would be back up. I walked right past 2 CMs who directed me inside through the line just to have the final one say the car was still being refurbished.

Wonder if they are planning on changing the pavilion and just don't want to fix it just to close it down. Hmmm. If not, fingers crossed for end of Oct. Getting harder for me to transfer. But I will try the new mine train and gringotts when I come down.

We just got back last night and I was told I would have to transfer to a ride car. I decided not to and just let my adult ds go alone.

I was already tired of transferring with soarin, spaceship earth etc.
