Is the Shark's Underwater Grill Worth it....

I've just decided to spend one of our upcomming wdw days at Seaworld. By the pictures of Shark's Grill the place seems great, but I'm reading some really subpar reviews on this board. Has anyone had a good experience here? People say it's very expensive, but so are most of the TS restaurants in the world, so I really don't mind the price. Also do you think I'd still be able to get a table for the Thurs after Labor Day ( I figure it will be really slow around that time)?

We just walked in on August 30th at noon and were seated in a prime viewing area. The atmosphere is incredible, and the food is excellent.

Sea World is having the "2nd Day Free Promo" currently, so we went back again before leaving for the ariport, and had counter service food. Sea World has beautiful animals, but their counter service food was just awful!

We were so glad we had dined at Shark Grill! Definitely make a ressie here. You won't be disapponted.

We eat there every trip. I think the atmosphere is really cool, but don't recall the food making much of an impression--not bad, but not outstanding at all. Of course, I don't expect much from theme park dining except the cost, LOL! If you're fine with the cost, you will love the atmosphere.

never ate at the shark grille but we're going to try it this time,
last time the counter food was extremely expensive (i think more than all other parks) at it really wasn't that great........

we have great dining options since the new waterfront restaurants have opened. shark's is good, but 2 adults and 1 child was close to $80.00 for lunch last time. it's a cool setting but we've done it, so we do a light lunch and have dinner offsite.

Myself ,16yr,12yr,6yr old ate there and our waiter suggested kids meals for us all. WE WERE stuffed they gave quite a bit of good food and these little rubber shark heads cup holders , so we also got a souvenier! I think the bill was around $45-50... I seen some of the adult plates they were HUGE we could have probably shared two meals for the same price but it was easier the other way. It was a great place to eat...
