Preparing to get my annual pass but can't decide if i want the normal or premium pass. I've never been to either of the Disney waterparks included in the premium. How are the attractions, crowds, etc? Is it worth the extra $150?

I guess it would depend on how much you'll use it. My suggestion would be to not get it this time and try out the waterparks when you want. You'll get a better feel for crowds/weather etc., plus you'll know how much you enjoy going. I think even with the normal AP, you get a discount on the water parks, so I'd be inclined to do that first.

You'd need to use more than just the water parks to make it worth it, e.g. oak trail golf and disney quest. An annual pass to just the water parks is only $110+tax.

Thank you for posting this! When we get down to WDW in September, we're going to upgrade to an annual pass, since we're planning on taking our DD for her 3rd birthday next July (and possibly a few days this Christmas time). I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon once back in 2001. It was fun, but obviously I've not been in a tizzy to go back.
