I'm trying to get some info on the Disney outlets at Belz & Orlando Premium outlets and am wondering what the name of the Disney store is there? I keep seeing something called Character Premiere so is that the right store?

I plan on figuring out my directions to both from our hotel and taking both sets with me. Anyone think that one outlet is better than another & why?

Any good directions out there from the pros?

There are two Disney Outlets at the Belz Mall complex. One is called Character Premiere and the other is called the Character Warehouse.. There is also an outlet at The Orlando Premium Outlets and I beleive that one is called Character Premiere as well. I have had good luck at all three on our past trip, so much so that we made big purchases at all three and had them shipped home.. ;) The Premium Outlets are very close to DTD while the Belz Mall is a little further away at the very most northern part of I-drive. As to which is better, it is hard to say. Often times they have the same stuff, but we have also found things at each of the stores that the other ones didn't have. In terms of the mall itself, I like the Premium Outlets better.. It is an outside mall and is kind of nice there and the stores seem nicer. I suppose that is subjective though.. ;)

In the past, I've done better at Belz, we got some great deals. Last year I got $48 & $58 sweatshirts for under $20. On our trip last month, I didn't find anything at either Belz or Premium Outlets, must have hit them on a bad day.

I think the outlet at The Premium Outlets carries on the whole the higher end merchandise. I agree it is very much a hit or miss issue.

On our trip two weeks ago, we did not find much there. During the trip in March, we thought we found paydirt.

Either way, enjoy!

sgtdisney,

Did the stores do the shipping for you or did you have to go and do that somewhere else? Thanks!

The outlet stores ship just like the regular Disney World stores do. You just tell them at the register right there that you want your purchase shipped home and they handle it ALL. They give you have a choice of shipment methods, ground or overnight, etc. They shipping cost is kind of a scale. If the purchase is over $100.00 it was 15.95 for shipping. Under 100 it was around 11.00.. (Every purchase we made was over 100.00  ) The best part about it is if you are shipping out of state they do not make you pay the sales tax which covers a pretty good chunk of the cost of shipping.

As I said we went to all 3 outlets in Orlando and 2 in South Florida and had packages shipped home from all 5 places plus two different stores at DTD as well... I am just waiting for the bills to come in now.. ;)

If you have anymore questions just let me know..

Wow-thanks for all the great info! sgtdisney-sounds like we shop the same-lol! We are purposely taking an empty suitcase for the souveniers this time.

Guess I will be checking out the maps--if anyone can give me some simple directions that would be great--we are staying at CSR-thanks! :)

I'm not sure of the web addy's, but if you do a Google search you can probably either call the outlet directly with questions, or get a map from the site. I always find stuff to buy from these places, because I know as soon as I leave, I'm the one that's going to be saying, "Oh, I wish I had bought ....", and I'll drag DH back and whatever it is will be gone.

Thanks again for the info everyone. I actually found the website before I posted--I didn't see the reference to "Disney" character premiere so that is why I asked.

I did some mapquest maps too I just thought if anyone had a suggestion on a good route it didn't hurt to ask.

Thanks again everyone, I'm all set! :)

Do not forget to go to the consumer relations desk at the food court and show them your AAA card if you have one and you will get even more discounts at the Premium Outlet Mall. Some stores give a gift or a greater discount than the general public gets.
