Is the Disney Cruise a good idead for a Honeymoon?!

I would have to agree, are there lots of kids on board, yes. however, because of this, the Adults areas are not very crowded and very enjoyable.

The only time I ever felt "overwhelmed by screaming madness" was at the buffet breakfast on the 4 night on the Nassau morning. We solved that "problem" by having room service before Castaway Cay and Palo Brunch on the Sea Day.. :)

My first thought is no, but I'm sure it could be wonderful!!

When I went, my family ate dinner every night (except 1) with a couple on their honeymoon (my fam consisted of my mom, step-dad, my step-dad's mom, my older step-sister (18), me (I was 16), and my younger sisters (ages 14 & 9). To this day, I feel sooo bad for that couple for having to eat with us.

It wouldn't be my pick for a honeymoon, but that's just me. I think as far as cruises go, disney offers a lot you wouldn't find elsewhere. I don't think you'll ever find me on a non-disney cruise.

I agree with the majority that say YES! I do want to add that maybe you would enjoy dinners more, seated by yourselves. I realize there is no guarantee; but, I'm fairly certain that if it's noted that it's a honeymoon and you would like to be seated alone - they would try to make that happen.

We did our honeymoon on a Disney Cruise and it was perfect.

As the Dream has an adults-only pool, adults-only restaurants (both of which are ideal for romantic dinners), adults-only clubs, and an adults-only Beach, it's fairly easy to avoid kids. Plus the adults-only areas tend to be less crowded than the family areas.

We found this to be true on our DCL Honeymoon cruise!!!! You will have a great time!!!:goodvibes

Thanks again to everyone!!! With your help our decision has been made! we have been reading everyone posts and We are so excited. We are actually going to WL for 10 day this August so now we are overwhelmed with our upcoming vacation plus our honeymoon!!!

In regards to the cruise...I have been reading alot on what is included but I cant find if the adult only restuarants are included with the cruise. Is Palo and the other high end restuarant and extra charge? does anyone know where to find what is offered at the spa?

Again...thanks for all of your help!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Palo is $20 per person extra. Remy is $75 per person extra. I assume you're thinking about the Dream, since you're talking about a Bahamas vacation, but of course, I could be wrong. The link for Senses spa on the Dream is here.

Have a fun trip and congratulations! :)
