Is the DDP worth it?

We will be visiting for our 1st trip this Dec. with 2 adults and 2 children (3 & 7). I was wondering if it is worth getting the dining plan. We will be staying for 7 nights. I'm just so confused on whether to get it or not. I would really appreciate your comments or advise.

It would depend on where you want to eat and whether your 2 are good eaters. You should go and look at the menus of where you want to eat to work out the costings

It works out cheaper to be on the DDP for us - 2 adults and 1 teenagers

That's great advice. FWIW, Disney is very good at pricing things. For most people, the Dining Plan will be marginally worth-it. For some people, it will be a great deal. And for some people, it will be less expensive to pay cash instead of purchasing the Dining Plan. The only know which group you fit into is to do the math.
