We have stayed just about everywhere on property from GF to cabins at FW etc and when people ask me or my family...we love them all for various reasons. We love the Contemporary!
3x Tower, 1 time in a suite in South wing. We had booked "the suite" at SOG but due to the renovations were moved here. Dad is retired DoD.
I agree with everything posted!
I would like to add if this is a once in a lifetime visit to WDW or a once every few years trip and your really into making it a magical trip and can only achieve the thrill by a tower room, then go for it!
If your coming from the perspective that the additional $$$$ would really *hurt* then stay in a wing room! Your on property, your in a cool resort, and I don't think you'll be disappointed! Some love the wing rooms!
Never had a prob sleeping here.
The *buzz* outside your room when you open the door in the Tower is part of the magic, imho! You can still have a magical stay in a wing though but for our family, even in a suite, we prefer the Tower. The Tower rooms can book up rather quickly depending on your time of travel, fyi!!
Have a magical vacation!
