Is the Comtemporary still contemporary?

We stayed there in February and LOVED it! To me it is nostalgic! great room - BIG! Great location - took us 3 minutes to walk to the Magic Kingdom! Great food - ate at all three restaurants (skipped the food court). Great view - we could watch Wishes from our room! It would be a total shame to tear it down - everything doesn't have to be modern and brand new and that's why there is enough hotels around for everyone's taste. If you don't like the hotel why get on every thread and bad mouth it - just stay somewhere else! Some of love this place - I had wanted to stay there since I rode through on the monorail as a child!

I LOVE CR and I wouldn't want them to tear it down and start from scratch. Of course, it could use some updating and touch ups and a rehab may be in order to keep it new looking but that's it.

I LOVE when I see it for the first time on our way to it or the MK at the beginning of our trip! CR is Walt and I LOVE it.
