Is the Carousel of Progress still here?

I haven't been to WDW in about 9 yrs. Just wondering if the Carousel of Progress is still around.

we just got back in October and it is still there. My 6 year old son LOVED it....we had to go on it 2 times.

Can't wait until our next trip

It is there - I believe it is operating all the time as opposed to just peak times due to the closure of Alien Encounter for a change to a Stitch themed ride in late 04

DH will be so happy to hear COP is open full time for now. It was always one of his favorites and we haven't seen it in ages.

Thanks everyone. COP has always been one of my fav attractions at WDW. It is the one ride that brings back good memories with my parents when we would visit WDW when I was a child. It is a nice place to visit on a hot day. "These are the times, these are the best times, these are the best times of our life". Sorry, it just keeps running through my head!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's still there! DH & I were there a week ago. We decided to go inside since we had not seen COP in a long time since it is usually closed whenever we are at WDW. Darn thing broke down while inside! A CM had to come rescue all of us inside!

They have been having it open because of Alien Encounter being closed. We were there in October and it was open. Great to go on it again. I know they list it as being open during peak times and since we go off season it was a pleasant surprise.
