Is the board slow for anyone else?

It's been slow for a couple of weeks now! That's why I don't post as much anymore - half the time I get "website not responding". Is it just me or is anyone else having the same problem? It took me several tries just to post this thread!

Yeah, I've been having the same problems. I don't post as much either because it takes so long for each page to pull up.

It's not just you. I've noticed the same, but today is especially slow. I know it's not my connection.

The boards are so slow for me as well. I hit post reply and a couple of minutes later the box actually popped up. I'm sure it will actually take a few more minutes for it to post to the thread. I haven't gotten the not responding page in awhile. Just things take forever to load when I click on a thread it takes forever to open. It's a little better late at night but not much.

It's been slow for me for months, and I'm on a Bellsouth T-1 here at work, so I know it's not me, as other sites come up plenty quickly.

Methinks the DIS needs to add some server power, and/or increase their bandwidth.

It's been a little slow for me, but not too bad. I think it's my computer, though, because when I restart my computer and/or close some windows it improves. I was having issues several weeks ago with it running real slow, pages not showing, and posting problems.

Ok, glad it's not just me. I have a cable modem so normally it's pretty fast, and I'm not having trouble with any other boards or websites. I'd be willing to pay a small fee so that the Dis could get a bigger server!
