Is the $8 dollars off $98 per point special still running?

We are planning to buy DVC at SSR and we were wondering if anyone knew if the $8 dollars off $98 special was still running? We have read that the points will go up to $101 on 3/31. So does that mean we still have time??

as far as I know, that special will run until 3/31 with the new price hike going into effect on Saturday April 1....have you spoken with a guide yet? why don't you call member services and speak with someone..they would be more than willing to answer your questions....

I think that the $8 off is for new membership of 150 points or more. I think for an add-on you have to buy at least 25 points.

Thank you Everyone! Last time we were in Disney, we did tour and were sold....but we had to wait till we had more money to buy...and now we do...so we are so in!

We can't wait till we can say we are DVC members!!

Not sure I would call it a "special". I can't remember the last time they didn't offer something like this. I expect this rate increase is intended to get the fence hangers to jump in. I would be shocked if after a couple months, there isn't a discount to $90 or less once again.

For the $8.00 incentive for add-ons, you must purchase 100 points. We did an add-on last week and I asked my guide what the min. purchase was.

I just bought at the $8 off of $98 and got last year's points for free... not even the maintenance fee. I was thrilled.
