IS Sunday a good day to go to MK?

I know Sunday is an EE day at MK, but I heard that Sunday was not typically a busy day. Is this true? I guess I can see it since so many people are there on Saturday that it would make sense that Sunday would be less crowded. I am considering going to MK on Sunday August 17th. We are staying offsite so we can't do EE so I'm a little concerned about it being an EE day. Any thoughts?

From past experience, I found that Sunday Morning was the least crowded and most enjoyable time to visit the MK.

Sundays used to be a great day to do the MK but the addition of Sunday to the EMH days for MK has changed that. Sunday is now a very busy day. A friend who works there said in his observations that Sunday is now the third busiest day of the week following only Saturday and Monday.

Arrived about 7:40 a.m. for EMH. It seemed really crowded at the gates, but once we got in.....no problems with crowds. This was our first full day at the parks and we did not notice heavy crowds at all. Yes, it had picked up some by the afternoon parade, but we had no problem finding a good curb seat on the bridge between the hub and Main St. The afternoon standby waits for Splash and Big Thunder were only around 30 minutes, with FP available for an hour or less on the return times!

my wife & I were there June 1st as well. We got there at the start of EMH, and had no problems the rest of the day. Like keithomas stated, it did pick up around parade time, but there was plenty of moving room, and space for a good parade spot.

We too have had really good luck with Sunday mornings. But, the key (IMHO) is to get there for the early opening, or else not at all. Our experience has been that by mid-day, Sunday's are as busy as any other time.
