Is Stitch's Escape opened?

I know the grand opening is 11/16 and that it had a preview for AP holders but can anyone tell me if they have been able to ride other than that? We will be there 11-15 for just the one day and would hate to miss it.

If you have tried it can you tell me what day you were there? Thanks

It was open today and not very busy. I believe the fast pass machines were even working.

From what I have read it is officially opening on the 16th. As far as it being a stupid ride, it is at disney and that in itself is worth the ride. Personally I have never seen the movie, but cannot wait to ride Stich. So many years from now when DW and I have kids and we go back I can tell them that when Stich first opened, we rode it 3 weeks after.

We were able to preview it on 10/31.

We were there 10/29-11/2 and got to go in it during a soft opening. We waited at least 25 minutes, and what a disappointment.

If I've learned anything from numerous trips growing up to Disneyland and a lot of trips as an adult to DL, WDW, and Universal, is that everything should be tried once. What is worthless to one person might be on the top of someone elses list.

I know a family who had their first trip to WDW last month. She did lots of research and knew a lot for a first timer. I gave her a short list of "not to be missed" attractions, but was not about to tell her things to skip. That's too personal of a thing!

I liked Alien Encounter, but will give Stitch a try next month. I'm glad that the height restriction is lowered and look forward to going with my son, mother and sister.

We tried it on November 3. We went over there in the morning, but it wasn't opened and then about 1:00, we saw a line of people waiting, and were told that anybody could go in. We were so excited that we were going to see Stitch; it was the one thing the kids really wanted to do during our trip. We were in line for about a 1/2 hour before we got in. We were all a little disappointed in it. It was mostly a lot of smoke and lights, with a few cute effects. I hope you get in to see it and can decide for yourself what you think of it.

I wish we'd gone back to Philarmagic (sp?) instead. It was great!
