Is stateroom upgrade available in port or onboard?

Hi, This is my 3d time on Disney dream and I am not quite happy about my Oceanview room category 9 B on Deck 2.

I know this is the one with no seating , but I thought may be I will be able to upgrade.
Please share if you have experience on upgrading or please tell me the portholes in rooms on deck 2 are not too small.

The portholes on deck 2 are not too small. They are pretty big.

If you want to try to upgrade at the port, you check in first and then go to the supervisor's desk (to the right of the check in counter) to see if there are upgrades available.
