i applied almost a week before this, do they even take the time to check about it?

Wow, they could have at least informed you eariler about the situation. Having someone wait and wait for something that will never happen is just plain MEAN!! And to answer your question, yes, vmk staff is that lazy!! LOL

and they are too dumb to go next door and ask the guy in the cubicle next to him about my application, assuming im an idiot and ignored the notice that said no more applications, and how the heck would i have gotten teh questions if i did not apply before that. did he even read my email?

LOL so true! But we must remember, the "cubicles" must be several miles apart leaving it utterly impossible to talk LOL. They care more about limiting the CL's rather than the kids who are waiting anxiously for a reply. Where is the Disney magic in all of that huh?! LOL LOL
 

The same exact thing happened to me. I applied to become a CL and got no response. And this was before VMK was no accepting applications. This was over 3 months ago.

In addition, I was able to get the highest score for the day in the Fireworks Game and a link was sent to me to collect a prize. When I clicked on the link, nothing happened. So I contacted VMK staff with the problem and no response. This happened about 3 1/2 months ago with no response.

Now I know that I should not be complaining. But what is the point of having a "CONTACT" button when no one responds to your question or problem.

I think more then anything I am frustrated with the customer service.

If you ask me, this is what they probably wanted to say to all the people who apply for the CL now: " Dear *insert CL applicants name here* it is to our understanding that you applied for CL status before the cutoff, but it also comes to our attention that you have wondered about a repliy for the last * insert amount of wait here*. We would like to inform you that although you did apply before the cutoff, we are pretending you didn't. Enclosed is a picture of a steaming log, please print and place on your lap. Please don't expect another email stating anything, as we are currently burning all records of you ever applying and deleting any Emails to what you call "the black hole" so that we can pretend that you never sent anything in. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!"

exactly, and someybody, they gave me the questions, they cant turn me down without a reason.
 
actually u shouldnt worry staff says that they have applications when a lot of people may join vmk so christmas would be ideal. also they want to check if any CL's have quit vmk so they know if they need more, right now we have about 3000 active players in vmk not counting mules. that is a lot of people

That would be fine and I bet many people would understand IF... they respond to the applications that are no longer active. It just isn't right that they don't inform the applicants about the situation until AFTER the applicants send in a note asking why they have not gotten a response. Think about the little kids who really anticipate the response and they wait and wait and are too young to feel the need to write back to them. They will have been waiting for nothing at all. I just think the applications should be replied to whether they are accpeting or not. This way the kids at least know whether to wait or not.
