Is Splash Mountain still known as Flash Mountain?

google 'flash mountain' and you'll find it. it's been around for years. the reports of the incidents are based in Disneyland, not WDW. but things happen here in florida as well. you can't control the actions of other people. we've seen our ride pictures hundreds of times in the parks, and never had one 'washed away'. the odds are in your favor.

Thanks ... I was kinda just kidding, but I do fall on the side of "just don't ruin it for anyone else". If you're in a boat with all your friends, and want to bare a little - whatever. But if there's someone else in the boat with you, just use some common sense and courtesy, geez. Looks like it's been done, so come up with something new and creative.

No, a picture is a picture. And while there is only one first time for everything, a picture shouldnt "ruin" the experience for you or your family. That is just taking a trip to a theme park WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. Its not like you're actually doing something of great importance, you're just riding a log flume. There are many other arguments you can make here, all of which would be legitimate, but the mere fact that you are upset for pretty much the sole reason of apicture is what gets me, first picture or not.
Example: Its someones right to choose if they want to flash a little flesh on a theme park ride. They can do that, they have that right. However, they also must face the consequences of their actions such as being thrown out of the park. Should they do it? Probably not. But a person has to make their own choices and face the results of said choices. Whether or not your kid gets his picture taken while on a flume ride, or with an imaginary mouse.

Now wait just a minute! Imaginary Mouse? What on earth are you talking about? Mickey Mouse is real! :earseek:

they 'wash them away' for lots of reasons other than flashing......lots of pretty mild behavior won't make the cut..
and i've never seen anyone at WDW given FPs because their picture was washed away....there are so many pictures washed away, they'd be giving out zillions of passes.....that must have been an unusual incident that the poster refers to....perhaps they had a boatload of obnoxious local teens....i would refuse riding with them at all, forget the picture...we've been caught in line with rowdy local teens....the CMs do their best to break them up into smaller groups and keep them isolated from the regular guests...

Oh gosh.... WDW is much more than just a "theme park". And Splash Mountain is much more than just a "log flume". It's something magical, and the experience is very important to a lot of people.

And Mickey Mouse is not "imaginary". He's real! I've hugged him! :cool1:

Disney has to stop this indecent and morally bankrupt behavior for the sake of the kids. When this first happened many years ago a photo of a female flasher made it to the pop up screen for guests to see and 3 children saw the pictures and died on the spot! Two others were hospitalized and are continuing to be treated for ****ophobia to this day!!!:scared1:

See, this is where I have a problem....'they can do that, they have that right'..no, they don't. That would be an illegal behavior. You can not just bare your chest, if you are a woman, wherever and whenever you please. Try that walking down the main street in your hometown...see what your local law enforcement will have to say about 'their right to do that'. Don't think so. To you this is 'just a log flume ride and a picture'...to others it's a life memory. It is their right to expect to be able to have a photo taken, in a public area, without having someone exposing themselves! While I'm sure that there are a lot of good reasons for those photos being 'washed away', this is one reason that could be prevented by using common sense.

Flash Mountain strikes from time to time. We were riding in a log where whole front row flashed. They were off the ride before it stopped, no one was escorted everywhere. Its a phase some girls go through, a funny one I might add...

Ooohhhhh! :confused3 LOL, I have to admit as I was reading this I was trying to figure out how someone would turn around in their seat during a drop and "moon" the camera........:)

that's right. it's just us floridians that have rowdy teens. I'm glad they're kept away from the 'regular' guests. we sure would hate to ruin your vacation. wow.... :sad2:

We had our picture washed on our Disneymoon. We were wearing our bride and groom ears and snuck a kiss on the drop. Photo was washed because of indecent behavior.

:confused3
