Is Spectro different because of the 50 years celbration?

Might skip it (and do some of the bigger rides) if it is the same as the last 4 years as I will only have 4 days in July. Thanks for any info.

We saw spectro twice in early may and we didn't notice any difference at all.

Its called Wishes now, changed couple years ago. Completly new show. Not sure which one you are reffering too. But Spectro and Wishes are 2 entirely different firework shows.

Spectro Magic is the night time parade. It hadn't changed when we where there a week ago and I haven't heard of it changing. I say skip it lol. Too much hassle stacking out a spot and then having people shove you out of it at the last min.The fireworks before wishes were called fantasy in the sky.

Sorry brain fart. Yes you are totally correct it is the same. But they have said it will switch back to the Main Street Electrical Parade after the 50th Celebration.

I believe Spectromagic started in 1991 for the 20 year MK anniversary, MSEP was brought back for the Millenium Celebration, around 1999-2000, then Spectromagic came back in 2001 and has been running since.

Me too. Saw Spectro last Nov. Just might skip it in Aug. But Wishes is another story. I could see THAT every night!

GoofyFreek----where did you hear that the MSEP is coming back? I thought that they said the last time it left that it was never coming back. I would love if it was and might have to schedule a trip around it. That is our all time favorite.

It has not changed at all for the celebration. I would skip it since you have a short trip.
