is small world STILL being refurbished?

According to the disneyland website it is, but last time I was there they said it would be open december 2008. Whats going on!?

It was closed for a long time to make some changes. Then it opened with the holiday version. It closed again to take all that stuff down and I don't know when it will re-open and we will get to see the new changes they made.

As said, lot of the holiday themed changes are coming down. Small World should be back open the 6th of Feb. and HM will be open by Valentine's Day.

Ooh, and it looks like you're going to DLR at the end of June, too, Budgie!

Oh, it looks like we'll be there at the same time. I can't wait! And I'm looking forward to seeing the new IASW.

IASW is always closed in January. It goes down in Oct to add the holiday overlay and again in January to remove it.

The big question is - what changes are made that we did not see in IASW Holiday. It's quite possible when those walls come down, we will see a Small World that is very different with extra little animatronics of Disney characters throughout. Nothing has been released from Disney to confirm or deny if this has indeed been done. We'll find out in 3 weeks.

This will be my first ride when we get there! Wish HM would be open my youngest has never been on. She was looking forward to it
