Is Shula's good baby friendly?

This menu is for the Grand 1 but it does not factor in the cruise cost itself.

That is the pricvate dining menu. I've never done it, so I can't say if it would cost more for delivery to certain locations, but it is worth a phone call! :)

I'm planning a private dining event in July at the GF. :)
The cost is $95 pp and the butler service (optional) is $75 before tax and tip.
Call GF and ask for Private dining and try to get Pat A. She's the one to book with. ::yes::

The OP asked if Shula's is "good baby friendly". Even "good babies" cry. You don't want to spend an anniversary dinner deciding which parent has to go outside with a crying baby or if you want your food packaged to go.

WDW has a lot of restaurants. Pick one that's family friendly?

How big is your family? I think Shula's has some rooms for a private party.
There will be 10 or 11 of us baby included. I will look into the private dining room option. Thanks.

Shula's has 4 private dining rooms that seat 15. Larger groups require semi-private rooms.

Sounds like you want Shula's and you want to bring a baby. A private dining room may be the best solution.

Thanks LewisC I'll call Shula's and ask how to go about doing that at the 180 window.

Shula's isn't a WDW restaurant. The 180 day "window" doesn't apply. I don't know how far in advance you can reserve a private room. No reason to wait to call.

Sounds like a good idea :)

You might not want to go through the regular dining lines if you are planning a private event. You should find some more info here:

Go to the Shula's private dining menu and you will see contact info for the specific people in charge of events. There are also the rooms available for parties of certain sizes. It seems like the Hall of Fame room (one of the 4 sections) will work for you. :)

They don't have a kids menu. Unless something has changed they have a sharing charge. It doesn't apply to a baby but parents dining at Shula's (and other signature restaurants in the S/D) receive 2 hours of complimentary time at Camp Dolphin for their kids 4-12.

There are many restaurants (almost all) in WDW that are family friendly. Shula's is trying to make it obvious that parents with young kids would be better served in a different restaurant.

I have wondered if they still comp the two hours of babysitting at camp Dolphin? We used this 5 years ago when my older daughter was 4 and my son was 12. They both really enjoyed it (my daughter did not want to leave), they even gave them dinner, and my husband and I celebrated our upcoming anniversary and they gave us a terrific dessert on the house to top it all off! What was a "pricey" dinner became a pretty good bargain IMHO!

We are staying at the Dolphin next month, so maybe I will check it out again for my two daughters!
