Is Seaworld better in summer or winter?

We, my mom and my are going to Disney for July and for the last week of november until begining of december.
We want to visit Seaword during two days, but we don't know if it is better to do it in summer or winter.
I think in winter it is easier to walk around because the temperatures are not that high. But I don't know if there are a lot of rides where we will get to wet to ride them in winter.

And for the crowds, does it make a difference, or those to seasons?

Is two days enough to enjoy all the shows and rides, and everything? We really love animals, and it has been a long time since I went to seaworld ( back in the day, when there were no rides) and so we don't want to miss out on something.

I would prefer winter. For reasons you stated. Its less hot, less crowded and more enjoyable. If you go in the winter, try and go the weekend after Thanksgiving. The park is open until 11pm. And there are Christmas themed night shows, rides and decor. Christmas themed shows like "Clyde and Seamore countdown to Christmas" or "Shamu Christmas Miracles". These Christmas themed night shows are different than the shows that will be performed during the day during that time. There will be a ton of Christmas decor including a lake filled with lit up trees that light up in a breathtaking show at night. There is also a holiday themed fireworks show to end the night. The ride "Wild Arctic" is redone for the Christmas season and becomes "The Polar Express Experience" which is a motion simulator set to scenes from the popular movie.

Summer has its advantages too, the park is open until 10pm. There are Summer only night shows like "Shamu Rocks" and "Sealions tonight" as well as a Summer time fireworks show. But I think Winter is the better choice. The only ride that you really get wet on is "Journey to Atlantis" which is a ride similar to Splash Mountain at Disney. You could get wet in the "Soak Zone" at the Dolphin show and Shamu Shows. But Honestly, in Late November and Early December, temps aren't nearly as cold as you would expect them to be. As a matter of fact, they can be quite inconsistant. The High could be anywhere from 50 degrees to 80 degrees on a given day. It changes so much, it's really hard to predict. It usually tends to be on the warmer side for a winter day than cooler, so I would imagine getting wet wouldn't be a problem.

hot in summer and you xan get wet and extended hours, but in winter, the Christmas theme is wonderful !

We've done both winter and summer and I definetly like it much better in the winter. The summer is so hot and there is really no where to get cold off, you're on hot cement all day and even under the roofs to watch the shows the heat can be unbearable. The winter was great. It was cool, you didnt mind walking around all day, there weren't as many people...was just much more relaxing for us and definetly more enjoyable.

As for rides in winter and walking around wet. There is only 1 you will get wet on . The thing is it still might be 80+ degrees the first week of December or even the last. Cold fronts don't always make it down that early in the year. Our winters are more January, Feb. than November December usually. Even in winter when it cools down to 36 during the night it might hit 76 during the day. Ya just never know, so pack for summer but bring a jacket and at leeast one pair of jeans etc.

Not really better just different shows....I like all seasons for different reasons.

Christmas because it makes Christmas more fun for us Floridians who rarely have family to spend Christmas with. Shows are great, decorations add to the season..Great photo ops at front of park with Christmas tree, palms and the lighthouse in the background.

January and Feb. because the temps are cooler and the parks have less people.

March because they have the concerts and BBq.

April-May Again not too hot to enjoy the park and they usually have conservation and Jack Hanna as the theme.

June-August- the night shows are fantastic and there is nothing to make summer feel like vacation tim then to go to a theme park with the masses of tourists.

Sept-November-again cooler and less people....usually something different going on..

We try to get there every season, but as we get older only once during summer cause it is too hot and crowded. <g>

I'm still considering both. At first I wanted to do WDW and Universal in July, and then WDW and seaworld in November-december.
We got our flights booked, so it's for sure that we'll come to Florida. But our winter vacacion will be much shorter. We'll be there from the 23th november to the 13th december, but we will go on a 4 day cruise out of Miami, and I would like to stay a few days in Miami Beach.
Now I see that there is so much going on at WDW that I don't want to miss,like MVMCP and the candlelight processional and the osborne light show.

So now I think that I will have to figure out exactly how much days I need in WDW in winter, before we decide when to go to Seaworld.

There is too much to do in Orlando, and to little time.
