I was told that room service was not free but for some reason I was under the impression that everything off of the room service menu was free (food wise). Which is true? I'm dying to try one of those big chocolate chip cookies that I have been hearing about.

Thanks,

Well you can eat your cookies and have your milk too!!!

Everything on the room service menu IS free. You will just need to tip the person who brings you your yummy food!

Some drinks (soda, etc.) and alcholic beverages get charged, but food is free. You can even request things that aren't specifically listed on the menu.

Don't forget another little trick - order sandwhiches the night before you head off on the islands and pack yourself a little picnic lunch. We did this and it worked out great! We had sandwhiches, fruit, and of course those great cookies.

And if you just can't wait for room service for those cookies, you can always get some up at Scoops near the Mickey pool!

Have a great trip.

Are you saying Scoops is free too? What about the other snack bars around the ship?

All food on the cruise is included except:

A charge for Palos brunch and dinner (I think it's $10 for each person, but don't hold me to it).
Pre-packaged snacks (bags of popcorn, candy, etc) sold outside the theaters before the shows.
Alcoholic beverages (except during the Capt's gala usually held on semi-formal night, 7 day only; and during the Castaway Club reception for returning cruisers)
Smoothies
Soda (except in the sit down dining rooms)
Any food purchased while in any port besides Castaway Cay, your CC meals are included in the cruise price.

Room service is included except for sodas, bottled water, or alcoholic beverages.

Fruit punch, lemonade, iced tea, coffe, filtered water and hot tea are available for free at the deck 9 drink station. Similar drink selectoins are usually provided at Topsiders for the buffets, as well as milk. I think there's usually juice there in the mornings as well.

The one thing you won't have to budget for on a cruise is FOOD!

We all know these things are not really "free"......we all know we paid dearly for them in our cruise price.......maybe a better way to phrase these things would be "included" in cruise price paid!!!

TKD Lisa....that was a great and detailed answer!!!
