Absolutely. I don't have an allergy, but I hate shellfish, so I told Remy I don't eat it and they took care of that. Remy is very responsive. Just call them during your cruise, and tell them in advance that you have an allergy, and they'll make sure nothing like that is part of your meal. In fact, they sometimes will call you in advance just to go over any possible dietary restrictions. Remind your waiter when you arrive. You'll have a great meal.I'll be sailing on the Fantasy October '23, first timers here with DCL. I'm allergic to shellfish. If we're able to get a reservation, is it even worth it with my allergy? Has anyone out there with a shellfish allergy eaten at Remy? If so, what was your experience?
Thank you for the positive information. We'd really like to treat ourselves on this trip and Remy would be a great way to do it.Absolutely. I'm so glad to hear they are willing and able to be so accommodating. Thank you for your input!I completely agree with Cheburaska. Just let Remy know your restrictions in advance (we stopped by on embarkation day) and you will get a wonderful meal that accommodates them. Avoiding shellfish will be easy. My husband avoids bell peppers, I avoid mushrooms, and we both avoid meat and shellfish. We both adored the meals we had at Remy.

Definitely do it! I have a gluten allergy and they are so accommodating. If you can eat fish, not sure if your allergy is strictly shellfish or all creatures of the sea, the toothfish was incredible and I’m not really a fish eater. My best advice is to go up during the evening on the first night and speak with the maitre’d at the podium and have them note the allergy so they can be prepared ahead of time.Thank you for the positive information. Absolutely. Between my wife and I, we have several allergies. They just have you choose between the two menus to make you a hybrid menu.I'll be sailing on the Fantasy October '23, first timers here with DCL. I'm allergic to shellfish. Now I'm very excited to eat there, keeping my fingers crossed we can get a reservation.I’m allergic to all seafood. We’ve eaten at Remy’s a few times for both lunch and dinner. For dinner hey helped me to design a menu that was progressive along with a lovely wine pairing (once with a champagne pairing). No seafood, no problem. For lunch, they made modifications to the menu to accommodate. Fabulous meals.

I haven't found it at all hard to get a dinner reservation at Remy, so you should be fine no matter when you're booking. Now I'm very excited to eat there, keeping my fingers crossed we can get a reservation.![]()
I really hope you do and that you enjoy it. We had this one chicken dish with this amazing corn mixture layered under the skin which was then cooked really crispy. I still dream about it and DH still talks about it nearly 3 years later! Now I'm very excited to eat there, keeping my fingers crossed we can get a reservation.![]()
