Is Poison Ivy a problem at the fort? In other words, is it there. I need to avoid it at all cost.

I haven't seen any around the sites but if you go off into the undeveloped areas you might find some. But you'd have to go out of your way to do that.

Like pp's, have never seen any, but neither do I tromp around in the underbrush where it might be found. It 'is' woods, and 'could' be entirely possible to find some, but have never seen any in all our trips. And, think I'd say certainly not, if you stay on the paths. (Actually, I'd be more afraid of snakes off the paths!!)

Around the sites, no. Now, being a redneck from Mississippi I do go off into the underbrush and explore and have seen some in the woods. I did see a few spots well off the path (and I mean way off) between the Fort and WL.

Stick to the paths and loops and you'll be fine.
