Hi! Wondering if the Pirates&Pals Fireworks Voyage is worth it for two boys, 2 & 7 years old, and grandparents? Thanks:)

I took my 7 year old on it and he liked it. The only downside was it got over super late. We were actually staying at the contemporary (which is y we decided to do it) and we didn't get back up to our room til like 11. My sons favorite part was meeting Peter Pan. He loves Peter Pan so that was very exciting that he got to meet him. I think it's worth it to do it once but we prolly won't do it again lol

We did it with a party of 10. We wouldn't do it again, but not because it isn't nice...just felt like a little event in a convention room; didn't feel worth the price and it was so late we all got very tired.

I would say if you have a total pirate lover it may have more oomph...or if you really want to do the fireworks on the lake.

We did P&P a year ago with then 3 and 6 year old grandsons. It was a highlight of the trip. Kenny has a good review of it here.

We had also done the Pirates League at Magic Kingdom earlier in the day, so that added a nice touch to it also.

Highly recommend the cruise.

:thumbsup2

This !!! We love it !!!! Tried it for 1st time last yr, after reading Kenny's review, and have gone every trip since ! Going back 12/5 !

Another option, if you are worried that the cruise is too late, is the Pirate Adventure Cruises, which are in the mornings, and the kids go by themselves w/o adults. My 4 and 6 year olds loved it.

Did it last year with DD7 and DS3. Both loved it and so did DW and I. May plan to do it again.

:jumping1:I've went one year by myself and it was still quite fun (22 here lol) i love that its a guarantee to get face time with characters, plus boat ride was fun and great view hoping to get reservation for my upcoming trip! this time bringing a friend lol

While I realize this will be a very late night, we are going to book this because my 5-year-old son LOVES Captain Hook. Not sure why, but he does. He was Captain Hook for Halloween and the fact that he can meet Hook and Smee AND Peter Pan... well it's a definite.

Now that we planned this, we've adjusted our schedule so we don't have to do anything the following morning. We'll sleep in (even for our 2nd day) and relax and hit EPCOT as soon as we're feeling ready to go.
