Is outdoor seating okay?

Hi - I just booked outdoor seating at Ariel's Grotto for 10am Monday. It looks like the weather will be nice. (not too much available for a table of 9 at such late notice)

I am a little concerned about it being outdoors. Do you think it will be too hot at 10am? It looks like it is covered.

We had an unexpected experience at the Plaza Inn a couple of years back. I did not know that you could be seated outside. It was December and it was surprising sunny. Our table and other tables began attempting to position the table umbrella's to block the sun.

So I am just a bit concerned about outdoor seating this time around.

I prefer to sit outside Ariel's Grotto when the weather is nice and it looks to be great weather when you're there. And yes, the outside area is covered.

plus you get MUCH better pictures in my opinion.

the set up inside is such that a lot of the times you end up taking a picture of your kids with the window behind them. the lighting is awful.

Ive sat outside before and I think its way better. Like others said, its much better for pictures even in the sense of lighting.

The outside is great!! It is covered and no, 10 am won't be too hot.

You never know about December... It could be beautiful, rainy or cold. You may want an indoor back up plan just in case.

Does anyone know if they have outdoor heaters in the winter?

I would if there were heaters, but otherwise probably not. The weather is unpredictable then so you just never know.

It is also quieter being outside as noise echoes indoors in Ariel's Grotto - and it can get VERY noisy indoors. We prefer being outside. The shade will keep everyone from getting to hot.

I agree with it being better outside. My concern is that they are draining the "lake" and may have a foul odor. I don't know exactly when they are draining the water. We have outside ressies for November 23rd

That is good! I bet they are very excited! And like everyone has said outdoor seating there is nice because it is covered and seems quieter. You hear the park but the conversation noise isn't so loud. Enjoy your breakfast!
