Is Once Upon a Time worth staying for?

Happily Ever After is listed at 8:55 and Once Upon a Time at 9:45. We are doing the (beforehand) dessert party for Happily Ever After. Is Once Upon a Time a "must see"? We will be doing 8:00 am EMH at Hollywood Studios the next day which probably means leaving the hotel by 7:00 am (and my son is young enough to normally sleep about 9 hours at home) so I would imagine we'd rather get going after Happily Ever After unless we'd be missing something great if we did.

We always see it at least once per WDW trip.

i would vote that it's worthwhile

but through the magic of the interwebs, you could actually preview it yourself to make up your mind, if that seems like a good idea rather than rely on random strangers...

I enjoy OUAT and do make time to see it, but given the circumstances you describe I wouldn’t worry about missing it if that fits better in your plans.

I’d probably be inclined to make a quick exit from the garden out the Main Street bypass, beat the rush out, and rest up for the next day.

Its worth it for me to let the crowds thin out during the waiting time, but if you need to get home to get to bed ASAP, then I would hightail it out of there....

I absolutely LOVED Celebrate the Magic but I did enjoy Once upon a time. Will I ever love it? Only time will tell.

We like it for several reasons.
It is very well done. Now that HEA has so many good castle projections, it isn't as unique, but still worth watching.
Staying to watch it gives the crowd a chanct to thin out before you leave.

We saw for the first time this June and thought it was enchanting and well worth waiting for. Also, most of the crowd left immediately after HEA so we were able to get a wide open spot near and directly in front of the castle for our viewing. By the time it was finished there wasn't much of a crowd at all and we were able to exit the park without the unpleasantness of a very crowded Main Street. Our whole family loved it, and it was a perfect way to end our last evening in the parks.

Once Upon a Time feels so sleepy to me compared to Celebrate the Magic. I guess, by definition, the themes are polar opposites. Celebrate the Magic was full of energy, whereas the new one is all about a bedtime story and saying goodnight. For me, the new show is not a must-do.
