Just ate at Ohana for dinner for the 1st time on 4/3/16. Going in I had read many mixed reviews. Decided to give it a try for my DD's 16th b-day dinner so we could watch Wishes from Poly afterwards. I would love to say that we enjoyed it, but unfortuantely, that was not the case for us.
The bread and salad were good, but that was all IMO. The noodles and veggies had potential, but were cold, as was everything else. The steak was way undercooked (quite red) for my liking and was room temperature to cold. Chicken may have been ok if not cold. One shrimp skewer we got was hot off of the fire and had to wait to peel them, but that was the extent of hot food for the entire meal.
My husband seemed to enjoy the bread pudding (I think it was) dessert, but that is not my taste, so I did not even try it. Brought cupcakes for the kids that were so dry (almost seemed frozen then thawed out).
Again, this was just our experience and my opinion. I read where others love it! To me though, the sign of a good restaurant is a consistency of good food. Ohana seems to have alot of inconsistencies with the food and for the price, should be great all the time. My family will not be returning.
