The tips given on Ridemax says go to Nemo first during Early Entry days, but I don't see it on the allearsnet list of attractions open during Magic Mornings.

Any one know for sure???:confused3

Thanks Jen, I was just wondering if that changed since last summer because Disney made some changes to Early Entry back in January.

Not that I've heard. They changed the days around that they have it, and it went from EE to MM. But as far as I know, FL, Nemo, Space, and Buzz are all open for it.

On Mothers day it was open for part of EE/MM, but not first thing. Our friends were in line for about 15 minutes before they found out that they were still doing their morning tests on it. The left the line, road some other things and went back later.

We just got back today and used our magic morning Thursday. Went straight to Nemo. We had been at the park everyday for the previous week and the line was about 1 hour at most times so definitely do first thing.

Does anyone know if Nemo is a Fast Pass ride? Just in case we cant go there first thing in the MM?

When we went during Spring Break, Finding Nemo was open during Early Entry/Morning. In fact, everyone ran over to that ride. We preferred to get our Space Mountain groove on- we rode that twice with little waiting.
Finding Nemo isn't a Fastpass ride- I'm really suprised by that.:cutie:

If you can't get there first thing for MM (and for Nemo I recommend lining up at the gates around 45 minutes before MM begins, yes that early), then try Nemo in the evening, around parade/Fantasmic times, or the very last thing. Lines have been reported to drop off later in the day.

It isn't a FP ride because of its extremely slow loading and low capacity. Think about it. The line is already slow and takes forever. Imagine if every minute you had extra people with FPs cutting in at the front, how much longer the stand-by line would be.

Just because a line is long or a ride is popular doesn't mean it should have FP or could have FP. There are several reasons that prevent other rides with long lines from having FP. In this case it's low capacity, but in a ride like Peter Pan's case it has to do with space. There's no room for FP machines or a FP return line there because of how Fantasyland was constructed. For a ride like Pirates (which used to have FP), its problem was its high capacity. So there are a bunch of different reasons.

We were just there for 3 days last week. Made the Nemo dash on the first morning and the ride did not open yet because of technical difficulties.

Were going to make the dash on early entry the next morning, but everybody else was doing the same thing and since the park opens at exactly the magic morning entry time, your dash is from the turnstiles all the way to Nemo, instead of just the rope drop to Nemo. Decided to Fantasyland it instead and rode 6 rides in that hour.

Our third day, we did the dash from the ropedrop. I had my kids sprint ahead and hold places. We got on the 2nd boat. The line is almost immediately too long.

It is definitely survival of the fittest getting on that ride without a long wait. Even being at the head of the line, it still took 10 to 15 minutes for the ride ops to get their act together and load the boats.

I think it is easier to get to from the rope drop and not on the magic morning entry days.

Technically it's line jumping, but when I was there in August practically everybody was doing it. If it's only one person jumping, with more than 3 people holding the line I think it would be fine. If it's more people jumping than holding, it would be a little cheap.

thanx, i'll send jr & dad ahead while i lumber along:thumbsup2 technically only 2 lol

2 kids and dad reached it before me. Plus, they let whole family arrivals move in front of them (about 10 people) before I got there, so I don't feel guilty.

Disney doesn't want anyone running, but everyone does. So, basically - you can follow the rules, all walk together and be at the end of an hour to 2 hour long line, or you can do what you have to do to get there early. I have a child who has emotional difficulties and does not do well with lines. I'd get her a guest assistance pass since she is under psychiatric care, but she wouldn't ever be able to watch other people passing her from the assisted guest waiting area without getting overwrought so it doesn't make sense for us. But, if I need to send her and her brother ahead of us to get on a line early to spare her the wait, I will and I won't "feel cheap".

We did the Nemo stampede on Spring Break. Ick. Too much fuss for what is basically just a cute ride. We won't do it again. I'd much rather do all of FL, Space and Buzz multiple times!

You can ask to view it in the alternate viewing area (for those with disabiities who can't get on the sub), which shows a video screening of the same show, with much less wait.

no rope walk or is it abbreviated to avoid a stampede of sorts?

would it be quicker just to hop on the monrail (not even sure if it's in the location:confused: )

I'm not sure what time they open the monorail and what time the first one gets you in the Park. I learned the hard way that although the entrance (where you board the boats) is closer to Tomorrowland, you need to enter through Fantasyland and they'll make you follow the rope trail (as you watch others jump under them in front of you). Definitely only worth the dash if you're at rope drop on a non-MM day then you should be able to make it with a 15-20 minute wait if you fast-walk. (As others have said, you can't count on the ride being ready to go when you arrive - they'll usually hold you for 10-15 minutes before letting the first passengers board.) Still better than being an hour back in the line!
