Is Navi Worth My Time?

No one else in my group really wants to ride Navi-my son and husband did it on out last trip and my other kids are not interested. Is it worth a trek all the way over to that side of the park to ride?

I would say it is, but not if the wait time is very long. It's a good ride. My mom actually loved it. There isn't that much to it, but it is calm and serene. The Shaman animatronic at the end really is amazing too!

I've only ridden this once with a line wait - every other time I've ridden with a FP. For me personally, it isn't worth a long wait or a frequent ride. I've always prioritized FOP over Navi.

For me if I haven’t experienced something it’s always worth my time to try it once. Then I decide for myself if I like it or not and how much time I’m willing to wait in line if I want to do it again.

With that, I think Navi River is fine for me if the wait is like 20 min or less. With how our AK days usually shape out we’ll go on it at rope drop.

I would say Navi is worth your time if you haven't experienced it. It's not a ride "in my opinion" that I would go on again if I had to wait anything more than 15 minutes. But it's visually beautiful and something I would say if the line is short or you're unable to get a FOP FP than get a FP for it and give it a try.

Navi is practically walk on at park open. We've ridden it several times, with a FP and SB, and I agree with the others that I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes. Also, while refreshing I've seen Navi FP pop up quite a bit in the late afternoon and evenings.
The ride is visually stunning, IMO and definitely worth seeing once. We really only ride because we are in Pandora anyway for FOP. I've never made a special trip for it.

NRJ was my favorite thing in Pandora; it's too short but I love the visuals and it has one of the coolest animatronics I've ever seen. I'd absolutely recommend doing it at least once if you think it has any appeal for you, but I would try to time it to avoid a long line or get a FP+ for it (honestly though that's my feeling about most rides). It seems not to gather a long line for a good while after rope drop since the vast majority of people who dash straight to Pandora are heading to FoP, so if you're there in the morning it might be worth your time to split briefly from your group to make the trek and hop on it once or twice before the queue builds up.

It's not my favorite ride, but I don't think there's a wrong answer. Anything at Disney World is worth experiencing at least once. The scenes are quite beautifully done and it also features one of the most advanced animatronic figures ever made.

If you're a big fan of Avatar, I would definitely recommend it. If you're not and you have plenty of other things to fill your day, I would personally not wait more than 20 minutes to ride it.

It sounds like you do want to ride it, and the rest of your group isn't so interested. In that case, I would suggest trying to get it as a Fastpass. I would definitely ride Flight of Passage (if you're into well-done simulator thrill rides), and then go for it as a FP after you've used your first three. Since it's a boat ride, it has a decent capacity and there's a good chance you'll be able to pick up a Fastpass if you keep refreshing your browser/app to see the latest availability.

There are many wonderful things about the Attraction.

I am in the camp where I don't wait about more than 20-25 minutes for really any Attraction, and I would say NRJ is worth that wait. Its def a nice change and something different in AK.

Thanks everyone! We are not doing FOP so I will likely get FP for Navi and take my youngest with me. As mentioned in the last post, we almost never wait more than 20 minutes for any ride- unless things have changed drastically in the parks- I plan like crazy. I will now add Navi into my plans!

People give it a bad rap but I think it is a GORGEOUS ride in a truly remarkably themed land so I definitely recommend you check it out. I went early in the morning EMH and then again the same night right before close and experienced 20 minute waits both times. This was June 26 of last year.

I think that it's extremely underrated. WE ADORE IT! It's a must-do every time, we always hop on a few minutes before park closes. BEAUTIFUL ride, AMAZING animatronic at the end. If you've watched the Avatar movie it feels SO immersive (personally I haven't but my parents have). Give it a shot.

If the line is less th 15 minutes yes! Otherwise I wouldn’t bother. Go at the very end of the night.

It's a decent ride if you haven't ridden it before or if there is no line, otherwise I'd pass. As I heard someone say, it like POC, but without a story.

Another vote for yes if less than 20 minute wait, otherwise not worth the time.

Last year at age 9 the little one insisted. It was nice but nothing I would make a special trip for. She however loved it and after we went home (this was after FoP as well) watched the movie for the 1st time. It is on her list of must do's for the next trip as well.

No - if you are there and there's no wait - sure. Any kind of wait? Skip. Total waste of time.
