For me, that's a Nope Sandwich With Extra Nopesauce.
At most (all?) resorts, Housekeeping is the single biggest component of dues. For example,
at Riviera, it's $2.17/pt for 2025. If you assume every room is cleaned every other day (and they probably aren't quite that often) then daily housekeeping doubles that.
I do not want to pay an extra $2.17/pt so that I don't have to re-use a towel.
Realistically, an intra-stay clean is not as complete as an inter-stay one, so it wouldn't double it. But still--I do not want to increase the component that is already the largest share of Dues to get an extra clean or two. There is a reason that I cannot think of a US-based timesahre that does daily cleanings. In fact, Disney is one of the most frequent I can think of---some Marriotts have a midweek tidy which is similar, but I'm not sure those haven't been dropped. What's more, several systems require owners with many short stays to pay extra for the extra cleans they impose on the system. Wyndham and WorldMark both do, for example.
Funny story: I was staying at a Doubletree a few days ago. On the second morning I could not find my towel for the life of me! Turns out the reason I couild not find it was that Housekeeping repalced it with a new one, folded and put away. I'm so used to staying in timeshares that it did not occur to me for about five minutes.
