Let me just warn you the "elite and entitled" (AKA as the Delta RUDE) are all in the first few zones. They have LOTS of carry ons and have a fundamental belief that when they say "put your smaller item under the seat in front of you' they meant "Everyone but me, all of my carryons go in the overhead"
Next time you get on Delta do a survey as you walk past First Class. Look under the seats. NADA! But trust me ALL of those men and women got on with at LEAST two items. (I am routinely told by my seat mate that "you can put that in the overhead" when I put my briefcase under the seat in front of me)
The "rude" board in zones up to one so... when you fly out of Atlanta half the overhead is full early on. You can spot them by the pushing and shoving to be FIRST on the plane (I think there must be a prize if you are first, but I don't know what it is) These jerks would knock over Grandma to be first!
As a Delta elite, I apologize, but there is nothing I can do about my fellow travelers who seem to have some "special exemption" that only they know about.
