I don't see why not.He is currently living with us and going with us in Oct next year and was wondering if he would qualify for the DVC discount on annual passes because he lives in my household. TIA!
Although... how strict is that? I mean here if you move from one town to another in the same state the RMV would just give you a sticker to put on the back with the new address. If he is 18 or over, he must have photo ID showing your address.

You don't even HAVE to do that since there is a line on the back and it says "Change of address, print below. Permanent Ink." so apparently if I move I don't even have to tell them and chan just write it in.
I wasn't trying to get tickets so not an issue for me. However my point is that even if you legitmatly move and change your address with the RMV they aren't going to give you a new licence. Which means they would 100% be illegible and have legally moved and disney wouldn't allow it because you live in a state that doesn't reprint licences.Try it, but don't be surprised if you don't qualify. Disney isn't going to give you $200 off just because you wrote on the back.

He'll need to show proof of the address of record but he'll quality if he can do that. That could be a problem. I don't know what Disney would let you use when you can't get a new ID. It might be a good question for MS. This must come up often if there are many states that will not give you an updated license. In PA we can go to the DMV and get a photo ID, you don't need to have a license, just an ID that indicates where you live.
I suspect he'll have to give up any DL from elsewhere to do so. Even for a state ID you normally have to give up the DL from elsewhere now. There are some fees and hassle. He may want to change it and leave it with your address for now as long as it's in the same state as he'll be once he moves. We can get him a drivers license with our address without a problem. He needs to change it anyway. He left it as my moms while he was living in apartment because his mail wasn't safe. Now he's with us, and if it saves him $100-200 on the pass, I am sure he will pay the $20 to have his license updated.

I don't know about the DVC angle, but there is a specific, published list of acceptable documents that can prove Florida residency. I would think the list should be similar to show proof of residency at the DVC Members address.

Good info, and that clears it up (at least for me).The documents state that all adults over 18 need to produce either a drivers license or state ID card with the same address. No other means for proof of address are listed.

That said, I can't imagine why they would use the same criteria such as financial statements with address to the individual.
I guess they have their reasons.
