Is Mobile Ordering Really an Advantage?

The one time I tried it was a bust. Attempted to order Dole Whips. Got past the payment screen and it said “Opps your order could not be processed. Try later.” Attempted to try later and it went through. On later inspection of my emails I noticed the first transaction actually did go through. When I went to the stand to get a refund they told me I had to go to guest services since it’s an app issue. Hoofed it to GS and they told me it was Aloha Isles issue. Told them “No...they said it’s your issue.” He told me all he could do was issue me a gift card. I said fine. He gave it to me for the exact amount I was over charged. Yeah yeah I got what I was owed but would have been really awesome if he would have said “Sorry for all this, Dole Whips on us!” considering I had to take 30 minutes out of my evening to resolve an issue that was their fault. Probably won’t do preorder again.

It worked great for us at Satu'li. I had a large order and one of the CMs helped me carry it to our table. I'd love it more if it would charge to our room or allow GCs, instead of directly to a cc. I hope they roll that out, soon!

I hope so too. A room charge or gift card would be great. Keep all the dining plan people off it though. Too many people get confused and/or don't understand their entitlements, or want to use them is a specific way, etc. Thousands of people would be tying up Guest Services complaining and trying to get it straightened out. Just look at how many threads there are about the dining plans, how to use them, what they are and are not entitiled to, etc. Can you imagine what a mess that would be?

But...but...but....the dining plan offers SOOOOOO much flexibility. :hyper:
