Apologies in advance as I should know this as I've been reading here for years, but...

Is MK more crowded on MNSSHP days?

I know it pays to go early across the board, and that you can get in at 4pm with your party ticket. I'm thinking the answer is yes it's more crowded on party days.

less crowded is the general consensus. people without party tickets usually avoid because of the early closing time. can be a great day if you get there at RD.

After 4pm it's crazy until 7pm when day guests leave. I also didn't find it quiet before 4pm as many people would suggest. 4th FP availability can be limited also as there's less in total available because I think the latest FP time is 5.30-6.30.

Another vote for less!
We're doing a MK day in Dec on a party day (and party another night)
The TP crowd level at MK on that Thurs is predicted to be a 1!!!!
I'm very excited to see what that is like.

I would perhaps caution you that MK will still be plenty crowded on a party day and you need a good touring plan, just like any day of the year. Party days just tend to be slightly 'less crowded' overall. I do find that manifests itself particularly at RD and the first hour or so after - you can cover a lot of ground then if you're focused.

Have fun!

Definitely less crowded on party days. If we are attending the party we generally do rope drop at MK and follow our typical touring plan - get all the major and secondary attractions finished as early as possible so you can do the less popular, or high capacity, attractions when the masses descend on the park at 4:00. Those people will try to do as many major rides as possible between 4:00 and 7:00 but you will not have to deal with the crowds at all plus it will give you some slower, rest time prior to the party. I would also recommend eating at late lunch before the crowds increase at 4:00 - I personally don't think it makes sense to waste precious party time waiting in the long lines for food or taking up party time at a TS restaurant.

If we aren't doing the party and we are spending multiple days at MK, we will generally pick a party day as one of those MK days since the crowds are lower. We stick to our same touring plan but leave the park before it is overwhelmed at 4:00, then we head to another park or have dinner at a resort and hang out back at whatever resort we are staying at.

We usually go and stay until about 5pm but in the afternoon we will do the riverboat and the train so as party people come in we are occupied then we hop from at Main Street each head out to dinner.

Oh good. I'm glad the majority feel it's less crowded until 4pm. That actually works well. We're doing a Poly/BC split. We're getting in the day before the party and plan to hit MK that afternoon, evening. Then hit it again the party morning, have a late BOG reservation then plan to bolt and spend the rest of the day at the Poly lounging poolside.

We were not planning on coming back to the MK side once we move over to BC as we'll be endulging in F&W.
