Is MDE Down for Anyone else today 5/21/16 ?

We are here now. We had no problems in Animal Kingdom today with fast passes or dining plans, but went to Disney Springs to eat dinner and the dining plan wasn't working anywhere! We had to pay for our meal out of pocket tonight (was not in the budget). People were also having trouble checking in. I bought a new magic band at the park today and went to the desk to see about getting it to unlock the room door and they said they couldn't access the system at all. So I'm not sure people are getting their rooms either.
Probably had to pull out old KTTW cards. I've had to use one a time or two while they were dealing with fixing the MB
 
I just heard from a friend who is there now, on the dining plan. I asked how she was handling it & she simply tells the CMs that her family will not be paying OOP for meals they already paid for. :sad2: Their lunch & dinner were comped, so I suggest that road for anyone else stuck in the same situation.
 
Just now. Was able to make ADR online for Tusker House Dining Pkg!! woohoo finally! Have been hitting refresh and search ALL day long!! When the times popped up (instead of "sorry we were unable to...") I almost didn't believe my eyes!

We didn't have any problems at lunch with flame tree. Not sure if they comped us or if at 11:15 the dining plan was still working. Also used our snacks at Animal Kingdom all afternoon. So we had no clue, showed up at Disney Springs and every restaurant there said they were a third party restaurant, it wasn't their problem, and they couldn't do anything. We just are at Earl of Sandwich. We are on the QS dining plan. I brought my 2 younger cousins and their mom pre paid their food and didn't send them food money.

I imagine it's different at restaurants Disney doesn't own. Sorry that happened to you.
 
Well the site is up somewhat! MDE is still having issues though as my resort reservations and AP are still not showing and again I'm still getting Olaf missing his head as I'm about to lose mine.
 
We were in MK all day on Monday and never had a problem. At AK on Tuesday...didn't have any problem at all with our fast passes (which were 9:45-10:45, 11:55-12:55, and 1:30-2:30), but we were told we couldn't use the magic bands to pay for lunch at Yak & Yeti because the system was down. I do carry my credit card to the parks with me, though, just in case something like that happens, and our magic bands (there were four of us) were all linked to my card anyway so it wasn't a huge deal there. BUT we went to Disney Springs after AK and it was really inconvenient there because we had to stay together since I was the only one with another form of payment with me.
 
Disney's entire contact system seems to be down for me right now. I can't see any of my reservations or tickets on the website. I have tried the Chat feature and it just keeps repeating that all agents are busy right now. I have been in queue for about 30 minutes on Chat. Tried calling, but I keep getting a message that all circuits are busy. Anyone else unable to get through? I need to pay my balance off today. It would be great if I could communicate with Disney somehow.

I've been on hold for about 10 minutes, estimated wait time 25. I had been trying to modify my reservation online and nothing would work. I also wanted to pay my balance off today.
 
Just want to say that we are here now and the dining plan is working again. Also our quick service meals and snacks we ate at Animal Kimgdom yesterday weren't deducted from our total numbers so we have extra meals and snacks now.

Hope you were able to make your payment. I know how that is as I had the same issue this past year myself. It's frustrating!

I also am not showing my reservations or my AP on MDE. I did call and after two dropped calls, I finally got someone to put me on a list for the system techs as this seems to be an ongoing issue and they have received more calls about this just today. Reservations and pass are showing on their end so I know they are there but I can't see them. Try calling the 1-407-WDW-HELP and letting them know you can't access your reservations.
 
Still no reservations or AP showing in MDE. I have 8 days until ADRs and I'm hoping this is resolved before then.
 
Resolved somewhat. My user name was changed from my normal user name to my email address so that I couldn't access any of my information. Once I signed in with email address I could access MDE information. Also affected DVC site so I had to call DVC and have them change the user name on their end and also linked to my MDE. Not totally resolved as the MDE app still isn't showing information and also an issue with signin on the Shop Disney Parks app. One issue at a time I guess. So if anyone is having issues accessing reservations and tickets on MDE, check to see if your email on file will work.

Yep, exactly the process I had to fix. This was my post in this thread from a couple weeks ago when someone else was having the same issue
The Shop Park app wants the username still.

Did you try calling their tech dept?

Also, what is your log in? A user name or an email address?
I had a weird situation in that a few months ago, when they did their last change to accounts, I had to go from using an email account to using a username. When most everyone else was the other way around. If I logged in with my email address I had no friends/family, no tickets, no ADR, no FP, nothing. But if I use the username (that came from the Movie account) I saw everything.
That worked till Saturday. Then the username showed nothing and I tried my email and sure enough, everything was back. It still works only with the email address.
Wacky for sure.
But long answer is, try the other log in, if you have 2
